About Us 

Back in 2006, Iron Men Ministry started in a Visalia, CA church, but began rapid, exponential growth just a couple of years later. Two men’s ministry leaders came together and answered the call of God to join their efforts and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to men who do not attend church.

Iron Men Ministry started citywide, evangelistic outreaches, tailored to where men live and play, by creating a man-friendly space where Christian men could bring their friends to hear the gospel. Iron Men quickly went from local to national as other churches saw the success of Iron Men reaching men in the community. These churches utilized the Iron Men Ministry events to increase their own church outreaches.

Soon after, many of these churches discovered that they needed to be better equipped to build healthy men’s ministries. The Iron Men Ministry leadership created a training conference, provided materials and began training these church leaders. 

As Iron Men continued to do very successful events, they brought the gospel to tens of thousands of men. Leadership of Iron Men Ministry changed hands in 2016 to our chairman, Pat Biggs of Fresno, CA. Today, the Iron Men Ministry is poised to reach men like never before!

Iron Men Ministry believes that Jesus Christ is the only way, truth and life and the only way to the Father (John 14:6). When a man receives Jesus Christ as Savior, he comes into a life-giving relationship, resulting in personal transformation, strengthening his marriage and relationships.

We believe The Church brings the hope of Jesus Christ to the world! Iron Men Ministry endeavors to come alongside local churches and serve them in building outreach bridges where men can come to know Jesus. We also believe strengthening men’s ministries in local churches creates relevant places for men to build significant friendships and grow in their relationship with Christ.

1 Corinthians 9:22 – “To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.”

Matthew 28:19 – “Therefore go and make disciples.”

2 Timothy 4:2 – “Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season.”

Ephesians 4:12 – “…to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.”

Our focus is on MEN! Iron Men Ministry’s God-call and role is not as a church, but as an Arm of The Church, reaching out to a hurting world through events and gatherings. We see that men are desperate to come to know God as the Good Father, to know their God created purpose and to be equipped in leading their families into a healthy spiritual legacy.

Iron Men Ministry provides relevant, man-friendly, evangelistic events that reach men where they live and play. Whether through retreats, BBQ’s, excursions or games, our end goal is to come alongside and disciple men in the Word of God. By helping to strengthen men’s ministries in local churches, relevant places for men to build significant friendships are created.

Most men don’t have positive role models in their lives, setting a downward trend in their family structure, job performance and individual health. The community suffers because of these trends. In addition, the recent move toward shallow church services and gender neutral ministries makes church-going even less appealing to a masculine soul.

As less than 10% of churches in the US have a men’s ministry, we have seen the desperate need to turn things around. Men need to know what the Good Father looks like, who He is for us and that men are massively important! Jesus Christ is the ONE who gives that purpose. We come alongside men to help them realize their importance, purpose and God-call in this life.
